“In the months before our trip, I was able to get to know a few of the students a little better during our our weekly Skype sessions. All our students thoroughly enjoyed the sessions even though they had to arrive in school at 8:00am, every Thursday, as they loved sharing information about themselves and their lives. What surprised them was how much they had in common even though they live so in different parts of the World. They had been learning about Diwali in their humanities lessons and through the Skype sessions they were able to learn more about the different Indian traditions and festivals. The students were very sad when their Skype friends graduated but they are all looking forward to continuing this again soon with a new group of friends. This was my first visit to India. It is a beautiful, vibrant country, we all experienced so many of its amazing sights but for me the moments that will stay with me forever are the ones that money cannot buy; moments such as the wonderful ”
