“Since we have re-established our links with Mayoor School, I have seen huge benefits for both schools. Before I visited Mayoor, I had been involved in helping to develop the topic - India in Humanities for our year 6 pupils. With the support of the staff at Mayoor, I was able to develop Skype sessions for our more able pupils. They were able to share their work and thoughts on India with the pupils from Mayoor . Over the course of the term, relationships were developed between both sets of pupils. When I visited Mayoor school I met the pupils themselves and was able to share and exchange more letters and gifts from the TDMS students. Through the exchange I was able to personally learn about their culture and education system and feed this back in my teaching. I feel that both schools have benefited hugely from the link and I look forward to it continuing to inspire all involved.”
