On a tranquil Sunday morning in
Ajmer, as the town was still immersed in a peaceful slumber, the merry children
of Mayoor were spilling out of their
homes, painting the town in their contagious enthusiasm for the 20th
Inter-House Cross Country Championship.
When the desire to break free
becomes overwhelming and running transforms into a symbol of life's journey, it
gives rise to a mammoth event like this, where close to a thousand children experienced
freedom and resilience, ultimately emerging more resilient as they prepare for the
upcoming exams.
The success of the event lied in
the fact, that, along with children turning up in large numbers, it also
enjoyed the presence of a large body of Parents who were there to cheer and
support the School for organizing the event.
The Chief Guest of the Championship,
Shri Shyam Kapoor , Director ,CBSE Regional Office, Ajmer, gave away the prizes
to the winners of all the ten individual categories ,along with awarding the
Overall Best House Trophy as well as Maximum Participation Trophy to the
Ranthambhore House.
Dr. Ravi Rajput , who sponsors the
House Trophies , also encouraged the School community with his gracious presence.
During the event's culmination,
Principal Shri Sanjay Khati shared the wisdom of the celebrated Japanese author
Haruki Murakami’s profound reflections on the meditative and transformative
aspects of running.
The event was presided over by the
Vice Principal Ms Sindhu Chaturvedi.
