A team of five students from the School went to the
Scindia School, Gwalior from 23 to 26 Nov.,’23 to participate in the
50th All India Platinum Jubilee Memorial Inter-School English Debate and Quiz.
Mayoor School Debating Team was represented by Avni
Baheti of X A, Nitya Kumari of IX E and Lakshya Bachani of IX A. The team made it to the Semi Final Round but
lost the debate to the Scindia Kanya Vidhyalaya, Gwalior.
Avni Baheti won the Best
Speaker Award in the Semi Finals and Lakshya Bachani won the Best
Speaker Award in the Preliminary Round of the Debate.
Nitya Kumari received the
Certificate of Appreciation.
Students also went on a visit to the Gwalior Fort and Jai
Vilas Palace along with the teacher escort, Miss Sapna Dansereau.
