The Mayoor Challenge Cup Cricket Tournament 2023 kicked off on the sunny morning of 21 November 2023 with great pomp and show.

Ms. Supreet Bakshi, Principal (Officiating), Mayo College Girls’ School, was the Chief Guest of the Opening Ceremony.

In her opening address, Ms. Bakshi stressed the importance of sports and complimented the school and the principal, Shri Sanjay Khati, for organizing this mega event.

The tournament promises to be an exciting affair, with eight teams (including two outstation teams) vying against one another to make it to the finals scheduled for 24 November 2023.

The major highlight of the Opening Ceremony the first inaugural strike taken by the Chief Guest amidst cheers and applause.

The Grand Finale Unveils the Cricket Champion

The much-anticipated Final of XIX Mayoor Challenge Cup Cricket Tournament 2023 took place on 24 Nov.,’23 between Mayoor School, Ajmer and Sanskar School, Jaipur.

The clash between the two teams had the spectators on the edge of their seats as both teams battled for the prestigious trophy.

The match, after being inaugurated by Principal, Shri Sanjay Khati, saw no slack moment, as Sanskar School team emerged victorious by chasing a target of 90 Runs made by Mayoor School team by making 92 Runs in 13 Overs in a thrilling encounter and clinched the title.

Mehul Pareek from Sanskar School, Jaipur was awarded the Man of the Match for his outstanding innings. Player of the Tournament award was claimed by Syed Ali Konain.

Shri Anil Kumar Singh, D.I.G. of Police, Group Centre II, CRPF, Ajmer and the  Chief Guest of the Prize Distribution and Closing Ceremony, awarded the Trophy to the winning team and complimented the School for its wonderful infrastructure and Sports facilities.

The Closing Ceremony was attended by Shri Sanjay Singh Badnor, Parent Representative, Mayoor School, Ajmer.

The Vice Principal, Ms. Sindhu Chaturvedi read the report on the Tournament and announced the names of the winners.
