Children of class V participated in the "International Mela" in January 2022. During the activity, they did extensive research on the given tribes-

• The Eskimos inhabiting Greenland and Alaska.

• The Maasai ethnic group inhabiting Kenya and Tanzania.

• The Bajau sea nomads of Malaysia.

Under the guidance of their teachers, they found out about the geographical location, flora and fauna, habitat, adaptations, climate, relief of the regions, their culture, music, dance, games, art, housing, economic activities, cuisine, and costumes. The students presented their work through PowerPoint presentations, short videos, quizzes, fact files, role plays and brochure designing.
