The Republic Day was celebrated at Mayoor School, Ajmer with patriotic zest and fervour.

The Principal, Shri. Adhiraj Singh graced the auspicious occasion as the Chief Guest and unfurled the Tricolour, followed by the National Anthem.

The students presented news debate – “Clash of the Fundamentals” and shared their views on “Yuva Desh Yuva Vichaar”. The Chief Guest also greeted the gathering and shared his views with the students enlightening them about the reason as to why 26th January was chosen to be our Republic Day.

A Cultural Programme on the theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshth Bharat” was put up in the Multipurpose Hall, appending an orchestra performance and an English song, which was followed by an amalgam of Punjabi and Manipuri Dances, depicting the glory of our Nation. the Chief Guest was given a memento as a token of gratitude and appreciation by the Vice Principal, Miss. Sindhu Chaturvedi.

The programme ended with distribution of sweets among students.
