The Annual Exhibitions 2017 were
based on the theme ‘Synergy’. The term Synergy comes from the Greek word
synergia or synergos meaning “Working Together”. Synergy lets us discover
jointly things we are much less likely to discover by ourselves. It is the idea
that the whole is greater than the sum of the parts. One plus one equals three,
or six, or sixty… you name it.
The exhibition was inaugurated by
Shri V. Srinivas, I.A.S, Chairman, Board of Revenue for Rajasthan, Ajmer.
On one hand the creative
co-operation and collaboration were depicted by a talk show on the other hand
we presented the synergized version of the ‘Hare and the Tortoise’ story. This
was followed by the examples of Synergy in weaving, communication, music,
expression and the rich legacy of Indian Literature.
Some of the highlights were Political
& Social Synergy, Synergy in Humans, in the Natural World, Sciences and
Psychology.
Music, Art & Craft department
showcased the vibrancy focus of creative & performing arts.
The term Synergy made all the young
minds think about and explore the different vistas of their choice. Computer
department chose to show the concept of Synergy through sharing of hardware and
software.
The previous two weeks were full of
research, planning, exploring, collaborating and finally manifesting students’ thoughts
into tangible presentations.
