Students of class V
participated in the International Mela on November 17, 2017. This event was
organized to celebrate diversity and create an atmosphere of awareness and
appreciation for a variety of cultures across the globe.
The students
represented different countries from Europe, Africa, Asia and America. They
spent a lot of time using books and internet resources to collect information
on people, festivals, culture, tourist attractions, cuisine and costumes of
their respective countries.
On the final day, the
students were dressed in their ethnic best and they enthusiastically shared the
details of their country through their charts, posters, art and craft items,
costumes and cuisine. They won every heart with their amiable and happy speech.
The Principal and the
Vice Principal praised their efforts and encouraged them with their warm and
motivating words.
