There are goodbyes that end a chapter, and
then there are those that leave the page forever altered. The Japanese have a
beautiful word, yūgen - an awareness of the profound and mysterious beauty of
things that cannot be held on to forever. Perhaps that is what made saying
goodbye to Ma’am Harshu Verma so deeply moving.
The Mayoor fraternity, represented by the
Principal Shri Sanjay Khati, teachers and the entire student body bid an
emotional farewell to Ma’am Harshu Verma today, whose remarkable 23-years long
journey has been woven deeply into the life of the School. From her years of
dedicated service to taking charge as Head of the Sports Department in 2021,
she leaves behind far more than a professional legacy; she leaves memories,
influence and countless lives touched along the way.
As she now turns the page to a new chapter,
the farewell was filled with gratitude, affection and the quiet ache of
parting. Some people leave a place; some leave a part of themselves behind.
Ma’am Harshu belongs to the latter.
