Students from Classes IX–XII
unleashed their creativity in an on-the-spot Poetry Contest on Saturday, 30
August 2025, crafting verses on themes ranging from बचपन and सुकून to प्रकृति, दोस्ती, जंजीरें, and more. Amidst vibrant
expressions of thought and imagination, Mehrangarh House emerged victorious,
with Chittorgarh, Ranthambore, and Kumbalgarh close behind. Leading the day
with her evocative poetry was Radhika Agrawal (1st place), followed by Agrima
Yadav (2nd place) and Delisha Parwani (3rd place), while Tanvi Singh shone as
the promising upcoming poet.

“In terms of my own professional development, the internship was invaluable and persuaded me to undertake a career as a secondary school teacher when I returned to the UK. However, above all else, the staff and students of Mayoor were friendly, warm and welcoming. They ensured our first visit to India was defined by happy memories and I very much hope to return in the future.
