The
month of August brought with it a vibrant mix of joy, festivity, and
patriotism. To commemorate the Independence Day, a series of enriching and
enjoyable activities were organized for the Children of Classes Nursery to V
from Monday, 11 to Thursday, 14 August, 2025.
The
celebrations began on 11th August with a tribute to the nation. Children from
Classes Nursery to II took part in the Tricolour Frills craft activity,
showcasing their love for the country through creative artwork in saffron,
white, and green. This was followed by an interactive session titled ‘Know
About India', which included an engaging presentation and a short quiz on
India's rich heritage and culture.
On the
13th, children brought pictures of freedom fighters, national symbols, and
Indian monuments to create a colourful Picture Collage. This collaborative
project beautifully represented the diversity and cultural richness of our
nation.
Finally,
on 14th August, children arrived dressed in tricolour outfits to take part in
the ‘All About India’ Talent Show. The event was a celebration of patriotism.
Children from Classes Nursery to V sang
patriotic songs, showcased traditional dances, presented a Power Point
Presentation and spoke passionately about India’s national heritage.
