The 79th Independence Day Celebrations unfolded with a spirit of patriotic pride as the Chief Guest, Colonel Rohan Mudaliar, Commanding Officer of the 145 Light Air Defence Regiment, Nasirabad, gracefully hoisted the National Flag.

 

In his address, Colonel Mudaliar reflected on how the hallowed portals of the School have been shaping the builders of a new India and emphasized upon the four cornerstones of Soldiering; Discipline, Courage, Moral Courage, and Character, as the guiding principles for the youth.

 

The Principal, drew upon Albert Camus's idea of freedom, saying, "Freedom is nothing else but a chance to be better", and added that "If we are able to preserve childhood, we will be able to preserve the nation."

 

The celebrations were further enriched by soulful Western Music and Orchestra Performances, a Hindi Skit and an English Elocution, all replete with a sense of patriotism that serenaded the audience, leaving them spellbound
