A Mock Market was put up by the children of classes I and II on 29 December 2016 as part of their interdisciplinary activity in Mathematics and EVS.
The children dealt in handmade objects prepared from available waste, either at home or at school. This activity familiarized the children with handling of money and dealing with shopkeepers and buyers in the market. They applied simple Mathematics while selling their goods and buying wares they needed.
They had a busy, tiring day but their enthusiasm knew no bounds. They were deeply engrossed in counting money, buying and selling goods and putting to good use what they had assimilated in their classes.
