As the School commemorates its 46th
anniversary today, the occasion becomes a heartfelt tribute to its visionary
founders; H.H. Maharao Bhimsingh Ji of Kotah, Maharana Bhagwat Singh Ji of
Udaipur, Shri Danmal Mathur and Shri G.R. Naidoo, amongst others, and look back
with pride at the great heights achieved by the School, which started with just
one hundred and eighty six boys and girls and seven teachers, on 9 July 1980.
The celebrations included a special Morning Assembly
infused with the effervescence of nostalgia.
While the Guest of Honour for the special day, Smt.
Pramila Nagrani, Former Teacher, Mayoor School, took the children on a journey
down memory lane, the Principal, Shri Sanjay Khati, shared his inspiring vision
for the School’s future and acknowledged the contributions of all those who’ve contributed in making Mayoor
what it is today.
The Primary Block also reverberated with a cheerful
pandemonium of Happy Birthday Mayoor amidst cake cutting, clapping and party
tiffin; adding to the fervour.
Students from Classes XI and XII took part in the Tree
Plantation Drive, marking the day.
