Children
from Classes I to V celebrated the ‘Earth Day’ on Tuesday, 22 April, 2025. The
celebration featured a range of engaging activities throughout the week, including
skits, street plays, songs, poems and craft activities.
Children
from Classes LKG-A, V A and V B presented short skits, showcasing their
enthusiasm for environmental conservation. Children from Pre-Primary came
dressed in ‘Save Earth', ‘Plant Trees’, and ‘Say No to Plastic’ themed costumes
for a Fashion Show. This was followed by a Slogan-Speaking Activity, where they
voiced powerful messages like ‘Save Trees- Save Earth’ and ‘Clean Earth-Green
Earth'. The event also featured a joyful dance drama performance, celebrating
nature's beauty. The students designed beautiful Earth Day crafts and displayed
them for everyone to see.
The event
inspired the students to become environmentally aware, promoting a sense of
responsibility towards the planet's well-being.
