The
Parinda Project, a meaningful initiative to support our feathered friends, was
successfully launched as part of our Earth Day celebrations. Recognizing the
challenges birds face in finding water due to harsh weather conditions, the
children of Classes I & II were encouraged to bring small earthen water
pots to school. The children creatively painted and personalized these pots in
class on Wednesday, 9 April 2025.
The
project aimed to educate students about the ‘Importance of Life on Land' (SDG
Goal 15) while fostering empathy for wildlife. The pots were taken home, filled
with water, and placed in balconies or gardens for birds to drink from. Through
this small act of kindness, our school community came together to make a
positive impact on the environment.
