Republic Day Celebration It was time to feel the
pride and honour all over again when the School fraternity commemorated India's
76th Republic Day with a vibrant blend of patriotism and culture.
The event began with a ceremonial Guard of Honour
by the NCC Cadets and unfurling of the National Flag by the Chief Guest
Brigadier Harish Kumar, Station Commander, Station HQ, Nasirabad Cantt.
Highlights of the celebration included a nostalgic
Bollywood medley by the School Orchestra, an uplifting performance of 'It's a
New Day' by the Western Band, a light hearted take on tax evasion through a
Street-Play and a mesmerizing fusion dance performance of Kathak and Indian
raagas.
In his address, the Chief Guest motivated the
students to join the Indian Army and also unveiled a special edition of the
Constitution.
The Principal, in his address, shared interesting
trivia about the Constitution of India which is now in its 76th year and still
going strong.
