The Children from Classes III-V embarked
on a journey through the Cosmos by participating in ‘Space Exploration Week’
from Wednesday, 18 December to Tuesday, 24 December 2024.
The following activities related to
astronomy and space science were designed for the students-
1. A Multimedia Presentation on the
Evolution of Astronomy from Ancient Civilizations to Modern Scientific Discoveries.
2. Walk Around our Solar-system shrunk
down by a billion times.
3. A Unique Solar Observation Session
through Specialized Astronomical Telescopes.
4. Live Stargazing Night Using Top of the
Line Professional grade Astronomical Telescopes.
These activities were conducted by
‘Equinox, The Astronomy People' and were supported by Worksheets, Reading
Material, Colouring Sheets and Puzzles.
