ANNUAL PRIZE GIVING 2024

If the spirit of the School's Prize Giving on Sunday, 15 December 2024 could echo a river's song, carrying with it the melodies of the mountains, the whispers of the plains and the serenity of the ocean, then it perfectly harmonized with Namami Gange a musical docudrama, as the theme of this year's Annual Production.

The day was destined for an impressive line-up of events from the moment our esteemed Chief Guest, Shri Ajay Sinhji Jadeja, Former India Cricket Captain, stepped in the School premises along with His Highness Maharaja Gaj Singh Ji of Jodhpur and Thakur Siddharth Singh Ji of Rohet.

It all started with the unveiling of Vatsalya (a black marble statuette of a mother and child in a loving embrace, carved out of a 20 ton single piece of stone by the Faculty of Fine Arts along with 20 students) by the Chief Guest, followed by the Orchestra and Choir Ensemble Twilight Reverie, presenting Bandish, Gat and Sargam in Raag Yaman

The Principal, Shri Sanjay Khati presented the Principal's Report which was followed by Palak Jain (Head Girl), Arpit Shivnani (CCA Captain), and Priesha Goyal (Sports Captain) highlighting the Academic, CCA and Sports feats achieved by the School in their respective speeches.

Shri Ajay Sinhji Jadeja's invigorating speech, underscoring the importance of School in fostering lifelong friendships and pursuing one's passion in Sports, instantly resonated with the audience.

The much-anticipated docudrama, then unfolded itself in vivid acts, showcasing the river Ganges' mythical origin, cultural significance and its pivotal role in sustaining life. The programme depicted enthralling folk dances of Uttarakhand, the Ganga Aarti at Har ki Paudi, the grandeur of the Kumbh Mela, a maze of funeral pyres at Manikarnika Ghat, the mystifying Aghoris, and Bengal's rich cultural tapestry through Mukkha Dance.

With Mehrangarh walking away with the Kotah Shield for Overall Best House, amongst other trophies being awarded, the evening concluded with a dazzling Pyrotechnics setting the skies alight.
