The first day highlights included field events featuring High
Jump, Long Jump, Discus Throw, Shot Put, and Javelin in different categories.
In the fiercely contested 4x100 m Inter-School Relays, Mayoor School, Ajmer,
won in the Boys' Category, while Mayo College Girls' School took the First
Position in the Girls Category, with Mayoor School finishing Second.
Tuesday, 22
October 2024, Track Events day was dedicated to shattering previous School
Records in various sprints.
Enrique
Everett of Ranthambore House set a new record in the 400 m (Group A) event,
clocking 58.59 seconds, surpassing the previous record of 58.78 seconds.
Drashti
Mantri, also from Ranthambore House, dominated the 200 m (Group G) event,
finishing with an impressive time of 35.25 seconds, breaking the earlier record
of 36.08 seconds.
In the 400 m
(Group C) event, Dheeman Sen from Chittorgarh House outdid himself, setting a
new benchmark at 1:07.19, outshining on the previous record of 1:07.78.
The 41st Annual Athletics Meet
culminated today with a spectacular display of March Past, Yoga, Gymnastics and
a Senior School Display, involving nearly 300 students. The day featured the
much-anticipated Finals of the 100 m, 200 m, and 4x100 m Sprints across various
categories.
Chittorgarh House emerged
victorious, winning trophies for both the Best March Past and the Best House.
The Vice Principal presented the event report, and a lively Tug of War between
Parents and Teachers added a fun element to the event.
The Principal congratulated all
the winners and expressed gratitude to the parents for their encouragement.
