Students enjoy Rajasthani Folk
Music Bhulle Khan, the internationally acclaimed Manganiyar folk artist from
Barmer especially performed for the Mayoorites on Monday, 29th July 24, along
with his troupe.
Spic Macay, the organization
dedicated to promoting Folk artists from around the country, organized the
event.
The Manganiyars, skilled folk
musicians from the Thar Desert region, particularly around Jaisalmer and
Barmer, are renowned worldwide for their unique songs and music. This
performance offered students a valuable opportunity to connect with their own
cultural heritage and gain insight into what makes Rajasthan so special and
distinctive.
