Come March and the Mayoorites
start swaying to the prospect of Outbound Trips, meticulously planned for
various age groups by the School’s Tours and Travel Committee.
The escapades strictly exclude
urban destinations which the children are already over exposed to. Instead, the
locations selected for school outings are rustic, tucked away in pastoral,
natural settings, and brimming with excitement.
This year’s excursions were no
different! The itinerary this year included Kempty Falls , Chail , Chopta and
Nagtibba for the students of Classes VI to VIII and IX to XI respectively,
where children not only conquered the Himalayan summits but also their phobias
through adventure activities like Trekking
, Rappelling , Zip Lining , River Rafting and Mountain Climbing .
Needless to say, the safety and security of the children continued to be a
matter of paramount importance throughout.
