Universally acclaimed as the idiot box, television today spews out images, sounds and graphics that often work as a catalyst to our emotions, greed, desires and ambitions.
However its conception with the advent of Doordarshan was not as convoluted as it is today.
The primary section’s Annual Cultural Festival was a nostalgic walk down memory lane with short glimpses of Surbhi, Bharat Ek Khoj, ek kahani,Vikram aur Betal and the ever-popular Ek Titli..
Ending with a beautifully choreographed finale was the Asiads with it’s thumping rhythms and riotously colorful costumes.
